Attention: Employers Wanted!

We need you to help make central Illinois’ training and retraining the nation’s best.

Challenge #5
Work with all employers and trainer to make training and retraining the nation’s best.

Why is Talent Force 21 Important?
Talent Force 21 is important because it helps organizations overcome competitiveness and places foremost our community’s need for workforce preparation.

It brings together the key stakeholders in the community--training providers, employers and employees.

Preliminary Goals and Objectives
• Provide real-time labor market information to the community.
• Identify ways to ensure that training opportunities match the jobs in the local job market.
• Determine ways that training facilities provide the training required for jobs.
• Identify and secure funding to help employers supplement training expenses.
• Conduct a benchmark survey on current training practices.
• Educate employers on the value of a talented/trained workforce.

Potential Measurements
• Change in the number of Central Illinois employers that participate in training/retraining of employees each year
• Completion of a community training needs assessment
• Follow-up surveys to measure changes in training practices
• Minimize redundancy of training to maximize efficiencies
